In the heart of the uncontaminated nature of the Val d’Orcia and the Val di Chiana lies the resort Borgo Poggio Bianco. The estate covers 200 hectares, of which 70 enclosed to ensure the privacy of our guests, in a dominant position over the valley, extending up to the Trasimeno lake.

Borgo Poggio Bianco has three wonderful “casali” (villas) built in the traditional Tuscan style. “Il Portico” is where we welcome our guests, “Gli Ulivi” and “Il Cascinale” are the accommodation for our guests. To complete our resort there is a magnificent infinity pool with view over the Val di Chiana. Next to the pool is an elegant pool house where you can relax and enjoy an unforgettable vacation as a couple or in company of family or friends.

Walks in the forests, excellent food and wineries where you can taste the famous local wines like the Nobile di Montepulciano and the Brunello di Montalcino, thermal spas, art and culture are at hand for those who come to Borgo Poggio Bianco. From our resort you can easily reach Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and Orvieto besides the suggestive villages of Sarteano, Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, San Casciano dei Bagni, Cortona, Montalcino and Città della Pieve.

To make feel our guests at home there is the Capaldi family, who dedicated themselves to this project since 1985, in a first moment only as farm and since 2016 also as resort.

Besides the hospitality Borgo Poggio Bianco produces extra virgin olive oil and cultivates cereals.
